Bill Gronbeck

Grade 2 & Recreational Flight Instructor

Bill joined the team at NQAC in 2013 as a Recreational Flight Instructor and is now a Grade 2 Flight Instructor at the Mareeba Aerodrome. Bill works for NQAC on a part-time basis after retiring from a lengthy career flying F27′s.

Brendan learnt to fly with Air Force Cadet camps through the North Queensland Aero Club & has navigated his way through various General Aviation roles including charter, medivac, safety, corporate and chief pilot. Brendan is currently utilising his MECIR & ATPL to fly for an International Airline.


Mark learnt to fly with NQAC in the first year he started his teaching career in Cairns in 1976. Guy had his first experience of flying in 1980 with the Camden air scouts. From then he was hooked. Since then Guy has been on over 180 domestic and international flights and the passion is still strong. I have introduced friends to the world of flying and love to share in the passion of flight.
