Remote Area Course

Did you learn to fly in the big smoke?

Have you learnt to fly in a place where all your landings are on paved runways or at regional airports?

Do you lack experience flying analogue, industry relevant aircraft?

The North Queensland Aero Club lends itself to some of the best areas for further developing your flying skills. With a fleet of C172’s, C182’s and a C206, we offer the opportunity to land and take off on many different types of runway surfaces in aircraft that make up the majority of commercially operated aircraft in GA.  Coupled with the need to consider tropical weather patterns and mountainous terrain, this course provides the perfect foundation for pursuing a job in the general aviation industry.
